Overview | To complete the BA (Hons) in Interior Design, students needed to select a topic for a written Dissertation of max 5000 words. It was required to undertake independent primary and secondary research, with interviews and statistics to demonstrate the validation of the proposed thesis. The dissertation had to provide the opportunity for a modern debate, with a thesis and anti-thesis.

The chosen topic is about innovative interior design and whether it provides or not beneficial opportunities on the learning experience. The analysis of the challenges and benefits of this type of approach to learning, called “Play to Learn” is presented through documented statistics, the analysis of case studies led by the Copenhagen-based Rosan Bosch Studio, and unique insights from the staff at Vittra School in Stockholm.
