Overview | Hansgrohe and KLC School of Design collaborated on a design competition using Axor brand. The winner is awarded a free hotel night and dinner at the luxury boutique Broadwick Soho Hotel in London.
Brief | “Luxury Does Not Need Space” The aim of the competition is to showcase a luxury scheme with spatial constraints.
Proposal | The concept called “Urban Escapism” aims to immerse the bathroom space of a luxury boutique hotel with a feeling of authenticity where heritage, nature and modern comforts are fused together to provide an exceptional experience. Rounded shapes help to create intimacy, while contrasts between rough and smooth materials create a sensorial experience. Layering of lights is an important feature adding intimacy and coziness to the ambiance.
